Foundation Fundraising in 2020
As we approach the end of 2019, we’re looking ahead to 2020 and our fundraising activities! All monies raised will once again be going towards our student fund that delivers the #WelcomeHome campaign, to provide home starter packs for our new scholarship students. This year’s campaign was a huge success and made an enormous difference to our new cohort, helping them to settle into their new homes. We plan to spend 2020 increasing our personal outreach to our scholars and engaging our supporters and stakeholders in becoming part of the fabric of our work. All the money donated to The Unite Foundation through fundraising goes straight to our scholars so it really does make a difference to the lives of young people.
The wonderful #TeamLondon are back next year, following their exceptional support this year in the Hackney Half, Three Peaks Challenge and RideLondon-Surrey events. In 2020 they’ll be taking on the Vitality Big Half, on a route taking in the sights of East London including Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge and finishing at the 19th Century Tea Clipper, the Cutty Sark…and we suspect a good cuppa will be very welcome at the end! They’ve also upgraded from the RideLondon46 to the RideLondon100! We do still have places for this as well as a RideLondon46 place rolled over from this year so if you are interested in getting involved, just send us an email – email@example.com

We also have our very first Bath Half Marathon runner this year! Many thanks to our colleague Vicki at Unite Students for volunteering.
Research into events in other parts of the country for next year is currently underway. If you’re thinking of taking on a challenge in 2020, why not do it in support of the Unite Foundation? There are running, cycling and other sports events all over the country so if you’re looking to register for one, let us know. You’ll get a Unite Foundation badge and our eternal thanks. You don’t have to be a fitness fanatic to support the Foundation, we’re keen to hear from anyone who would like to do something to raise money or support our scholars. Get in touch!
